The Best Practices and Green Initiative Cell of Yash Institute of Pharmacy organized a One-Day Environmental Conservation Training on 6th December 2025, sponsored by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Chh. Sambhajinagar. The program aimed to create awareness about environmental issues and promote sustainable living among pharmacy students.
The sessions, conducted by Dr. Meenakshi Battase and Mr. Dilip Bhope, covered topics such as sustainable lifestyle practices, waste management, organic farming, soil health, and regenerative agriculture. Students also received hands-on training in establishing a medicinal plant nursery, learning about soil mixture preparation, plant selection, cutting techniques, and sapling maintenance. The event included Saraswati Pujan, tribute to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, interactive Q&A sessions, oath-taking for environmental responsibility and concluded with certificate distribution. The training enhanced students’ understanding of eco-friendly practices and strengthened the institute’s commitment to environmental conservation.
