AY 2024-2025

Yash Institute of Pharmacy’s Student and Staff Development Cell successfully conducted a 30-hour Add-on Certificate Course titled “Advanced Pharmaceutical Skills and Innovations” from 02nd August to 06th September 2024. Led by instructors Ms. Dipali M. Kulkarni, Ms. Yogita R. Shirsath, and Ms. Renuka B. Dhakne, the course equipped participants with advanced knowledge in areas such as nanotechnology in drug delivery, pharmaceutical R&D, entrepreneurship, marketing strategies, and computer-aided drug design (CADD). The program began with an opening speech by Principal Dr. S.S. Angadi and emphasized regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, CDSCO), biopharmaceuticals, and pharmacogenomics, while fostering skills in data analysis, research paper writing, and public health awareness. Participants were assessed through a multiple-choice exam, activity-based evaluations, and Viva-Voce, with successful candidates receiving certificates. This course enhanced leadership and innovation skills, preparing participants to contribute effectively to pharmaceutical operations and drug development, reflecting Yash Institute of Pharmacy’s commitment to quality education and professional development in the pharmaceutical field.

30 hours Add-on Certificate Course on Pharmaceutical GMP and Process Validation from 01/08/2024 to 06/09/2024

Yash Institute of Pharmacy recently conducted an Add-on Certificate Course on “Pharmaceutical GMP and Process Validation” for final-year students from 1st August to 6th September 2024, organized by the Student & Staff Development Cell, with Ms. R.B. Dhakne as the course convener. The course began with a lamp-lighting ceremony attended by distinguished guests, including Dr. S. S. Angadi and Dr. Gajanan Vaishnav. Designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and process validation, the program enrolled 44 students over 30 hours, featuring five interactive sessions led by experienced faculty. Key topics included GMP compliance, process validation protocols, and risk management strategies. Participants engaged in online quizzes, practical case studies, and mock inspections, gaining hands-on experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance. The course concluded with an assessment, awarding e-certificates to those scoring above 70%. This initiative significantly enhanced students’ theoretical knowledge and employability, marking an important step towards industry readiness.

Inauguration of 30 Hours Add on Certificate Course on “Starting and Managing Retail Pharmacy Store” On 14th October 2023

Student and Staff Development Cell of Yash Institute of Pharmacy in association with Mintbotics Edutech Pvt. Ltd. Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar was organized an Add-on Certificate Course on “Starting & Managing Retail Pharmacy Store” from 14th October to 30th November 2023. the course is online mode. Dr. Sushma Vaishnav and Mr. Suresh mane was the instructor of course.This course should equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in and eventually manage a retail pharmacy store successfully. Additionally, it should instill a strong commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous professional development.

30 Hours Add-on Certificate Course on “Structural Elucidation of Organic Compounds”

Yash Institute of Pharmacy conducted an Add-on Certificate Course titled “Structural Elucidation of Organic Compounds” from 13th October to 30th November 2023, organized by the Student & Staff Development Cell. The 30-hour program, designed for third and final-year students, covered advanced spectroscopic techniques such as NMR, IR, mass spectrometry, and chromatography, with 61 participants attending 10 sessions led by Dr. Vandana Patil. A special hands-on session on polarimetry provided practical experience. The course concluded with a test and viva, awarding e-certificates to students scoring above 70%. This initiative enhanced students’ practical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, fostering their readiness for careers in research and industry.

30 Hours Add-on Certificate Course on Molecular Modelling and In silico Drug Design

An Add-on Certificate Course on Molecular Modelling and In Silico Drug Design was held from 12th October to 30th November 2023 at Yash Institute of Pharmacy. Organized by the Student & Staff Development Cell, the 30-hour course equipped 104 third and final-year students with advanced computational skills in QSAR, molecular screening, and drug design fundamentals. Expert sessions led by Dr. Gajanan Vaishnav and Dr. Ashok Narute provided both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience. The course concluded with an assessment, awarding e-certificates to students scoring above 70%. This program significantly enhanced participants’ skills, preparing them for careers in research and drug discovery.

35 Hours Add On Certificate Program on Employability Enhancement Training for Girls

A 35 hours “Employability Enhancement Training Program for Girls,” held from September 5th to 10th, 2023, at Yash Institute of Pharmacy, successfully enhanced employability and personal development among 31 final-year female students. Organized by the Add-on Bridge Cell and Naandi Foundation’s Mahindra Pride Classroom, this 35-hour program featured 18 interactive sessions covering professional grooming, communication, time management, interview preparation, and critical thinking. The program began with an inaugural address by Ms. Sanveer Kaur Chhabda, along with contributions from esteemed faculty, including Principal Dr. S. S. Angadi. The sessions provided valuable insights into developing professional skills and boosting self-confidence. Post-program assessments showed a marked improvement in student responses, highlighting the program’s effectiveness. The course culminated in a certificate distribution ceremony that recognized the achievements of participants. Overall, the program received enthusiastic participation and demonstrated the institution’s commitment to fostering career readiness among students.
