The session aimed to familiarize first-year B.Pharmacy students with the concept and functioning of the Journal Club as part of the induction program. Students were introduced to the importance of Journal Clubs in developing a research-oriented mindset, critical thinking, and presentation skills. They were guided on selecting, reading, analyzing, and presenting scientific articles, along with understanding abstracts, results, and conclusions through sample papers. The session helped create awareness about research literacy and encouraged students to confidently engage with scientific literature. Overall, the interaction generated interest among newly admitted students to actively participate in upcoming Journal Club activities throughout the academic year.
