Our department focuses on Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship (QSAR), in silico drug design, molecular docking, and the synthesis of novel drug candidates and intermediates to support pharmaceutical innovation. With a strong emphasis on computer-aided drug design (CADD) and molecular modeling, students gain expertise in virtual screening, lead optimization, and predictive toxicology. Our laboratories are equipped with advanced software tools and state-of-the-art facilities for the synthesis, characterization, and structural elucidation of bioactive molecules using techniques such as NMR, FTIR, HPLC, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
