Yash Institute of Pharmacy was established in the year 2004. This was made possible under the able guidance of academician, social reformist and politician Hon. Shri Yashwantraoji Gadakh Patil. Honorable Gadakh sahib started Yash Institute in recognition of social work of Smt. Taisaheb Kadam and aptly under aegis of Smt. Taisaheb Kadam Sevabhavi Foundation and Research Centre.

The cause, purpose was envisioned by young and dynamic shoulders of Shri Prashant Gadakh Patil. Shri Prashant Gadakh sahib provided all necessary infrastructural facilities required for the conduct of the program. He is ever ready to equip Institute with all modern equipment and instrument facilities.

For any Institute the initial 5-6 years are very crucial. The Institute needs expertise and personal care for blossoming, much similar to the growth of a neonate to infant and infant to child. It is said the crucial Physical, Mental, emotional growth of a child occurs and happens during initial phase of life. For a Institute also the initial phase is very crucial and specialized/personal care was provided to the students, faculty and non-teaching staff by our Founder Director honorable Shri Dr. Subhash Devdhe Patil. A renowned Pediatrician, candid reader, author, and a humble gentleman. Under his able Leadership Institute progressed well and was recognized as one of the best Pharmacy colleges in state and at national level.

The first batch graduated in year 2008 and more than 15 batches have graduated so far from Institute. Our alumni is well placed across the professional sectors covering Research and Development, formulation, designing, manufacturing, testing, regulatory affairs, clinical trials, sales of medicine,  Government sector, some venturing for higher studies and settling across globe. Many students have started their own business enterprises, some are consultants, some are teachers and still some other students are successful specialized journalists.   

The onus of carrying forward the good work is on all the stakeholders of the Institute namely teaching staff, non-teaching staff, alumni and students. Students seeking admission now have a wide range of expertise and guidance available in the form of faculty, non-faculty members, alumni, co professionals frequently visiting Institute. They need not bother about their career as Yash is one of the Institute having standing of more than 15 years and provides competent Professional and personal care.

 I am sure my faculty, non-faculty members are competent enough to help students envision their goals and help them attain their professional goals and ensure all students become good human beings also, as envisioned by our Founder President Shri Yashwantraoji Gadakh Patil sir.
