Short term training program (Staff training session-2 on ISO 21001:2025)

On September 27, 2025, a focused staff training session on ISO 21001:2018 and ISO 21001:2025 was conducted by Dr. Nilima Khakal at Yash Institute of Pharmacy, targeting new teaching staff. The session covered key aspects of the Educational Organization Management System (EOMS), including administrative processes, documentation, and standardization. Participants gained practical skills in preparing manuals, using standardized forms, and aligning processes with quality management principles. The training enhanced staff awareness, documentation proficiency, efficiency, and audit preparedness, promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement in academic administration.

Staff training on admission process

On September 20, 2025, a staff training session on the college admission process was conducted by Dr. Ashok Narute at Yash Institute of Pharmacy. The session aimed to equip faculty with the knowledge and skills to manage admissions efficiently and in a student-friendly manner. Key topics included admission guidelines, documentation, timelines, and the use of digital tools. The training improved staff coordination, reduced errors, enhanced communication with students and parents, and boosted confidence in handling high-volume admissions smoothly and professionally.

Training of non- teaching staff on Maintenance of stock and chemical register

On August 19, 2025, a training session was conducted by Ms.Suvarna Kale mam at Yash Institute of Pharmacy for non-teaching staff on maintaining stock and chemical registers. The session focused on accurate data entry, safety protocols, labeling, and regulatory compliance. Through practical demonstrations, staff enhanced their skills in systematic record-keeping, improving efficiency, safety awareness, and preparedness for audits, while fostering a sense of responsibility and accountability.

On September 13, 2025, a staff training session on ISO 21001:2025 was conducted at Yash Institute of Pharmacy by

Dr. Gajanan Vaishnav. The session introduced staff to the principles of Educational Organizations Management Systems (EOMS), focusing on stakeholder engagement, leadership, and continuous improvement. Through discussions and practical examples, staff gained a clear understanding of ISO requirements, improved compliance readiness, and developed a stronger quality-focused mindset, with enhanced role clarity and engagement in institutional processes.

Staff training on outcome based education

A staff training session on Outcome-Based Education (OBE) was conducted for teaching faculty using the Mint Edutech platform during the July–December 2025 session taken during August month. The training focused on aligning curriculum, formulating Course Outcomes (COs), mapping them with Program Outcomes (POs), and effectively using the platform for implementation and assessment. Faculty gained practical skills through hands-on activities and system demonstrations, resulting in improved understanding of OBE, enhanced teaching-alignment strategies, and strengthened readiness for quality assurance and accreditation processes.

ISO 9001:2015 general awareness retraining on October 7, 2023

 

Staff Training Cell organized a comprehensive training session for all teaching and non-teaching staff focused on ISO 9001:2015 general awareness retraining. The session featured Dr. Gajanan Vaishnav as the guest speaker, who expertly guided participants through the essential principles and benefits of the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The primary objective was to enhance awareness of quality management systems and their importance in fostering institutional excellence. Dr.Gajanan Vaishnav engaging presentation included interactive discussions, practical examples, and a Q&A segment, which encouraged active participation from attendees. Feedback from staff was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the clarity of the information presented and expressing a desire for further training on ISO implementation. This session not only reinforced the institution’s commitment to quality but also equipped staff with the knowledge necessary to contribute effectively to ongoing improvement efforts.
